FELTON ENERGY SERVICES LIMITED
TURBINE SHAFT ROTOR STAND

Boliserv International executed the complete engineering and fabrication of a heavy-duty turbine shaft rotor stand system specifically designed to support a 25-metric-ton turbine shaft. The project demanded meticulous attention to design parameters, careful material selection, and strict compliance with structural requirements to achieve the required load-bearing capacity. Our engineering team conducted detailed analysis and modeling to ensure that the rotor stands would perform reliably under operational conditions while maintaining full alignment with safety and performance expectations.

Beyond engineering, the project incorporated a rigorous, multi-stage quality control process to ensure structural integrity and long-term durability. Every stage—from material inspection to fit-up, welding, dimensional checks, and coating—was executed with precision to meet industry standards. The final product was fabricated, inspected, and finished to withstand demanding operational environments, ensuring load stability and extended service life for the client’s turbine operations..

The execution process followed a structured workflow:

This project demonstrates Boliserv International’s capability to deliver high-precision engineering solutions, combining technical expertise, structural integrity, and industry-standard quality control to meet complex operational demands.

  1. We began by procuring materials that met the exact design and engineering parameters required for the load-bearing structure. Upon delivery, a materials receipt inspection was conducted to verify conformity with project specifications and to ensure all sourced components matched the approved technical requirements.
  2. Once validated, the materials were released for profiling, fit-up, and welding preparation. Dimensional control checks were performed both before and after welding to maintain structural accuracy within acceptable deviation limits and ensure uniformity throughout the fabrication process.
  3. After fabrication, the rotor stands were released for surface treatment, which involved applying a protective primer, intermediate coating, and final coat to safeguard the structure from corrosion and enhance durability in industrial operating environments.
  4. Upon completion, the project underwent client inspection and approval, confirming compliance with the design brief, loading criteria, and overall quality expectations. Boliserv subsequently delivered the rotor stands to the client’s facility, accompanied by comprehensive as- built documentation detailing the engineering, fabrication, inspection, and quality assurance processes.
